Blogging is Fun!

Now that I've gotten the hang of this, blogging is fun.

Several times through the day I think of interesting subjects to blog on. I'll be in the shower, driving to work, doing dishes and an inspiration will hit me.

Then I sit at the computer and my mind is blank. Maybe I need to start recording my thoughts! :)

A diverse group gather at this blogging community to share their stories, their opinions and their comments.

Some bloggers have found their niche and share wealths of information with their readers. And as with anything else on the internet, I take some with a grain of salt.

A Blogger Success Story

Recently I read about a blogger in Chicago. Dawn Meehan, a stay at home mom, blogs about the adventures of life with her six children.

This may not sound very exciting but her blog has caused quite a stir.

Can I Really Make Money Blogging?

I've asked this question several times.

And yes, you can make money. One friend makes $300-$700 a month with little effort.

The objective is to write a blog where ads can be placed. Advertisers can place links at $5 each.

Here's how I started:

I created 10 blogs. Each has a general theme such as blogging, writing a novel, fitness, health, etc.

It's important to blog on different topics so you can get paid for all types of ads.

Make Money Blogging

Since the beginning of the year my husband and I have been feeling the wind of change and that we are walking into a new season of our lives.

This summer we sold our house. Yesterday my husband found out about a major change in his job. Thank God the house is gone because it also involved a pay cut. (But we are thankful he still has a job!!)

And I have a deep desire to work from home and make money writing.

I've heard the horror stories about work at home scams. But I also have a long standing relationship with several bloggers and know they make money blogging.

Building Credibility

Just for the fun of it I googled my username "Coloradodreamer".

To my delight, it came up four times on the first page of Google.

I've been blogging less than a year but just goes to show how important it is to blog at credible sites.
